The school will be closed on Monday, January 23 for Chinese/Lunar New Year. Classes will resume on Tuesday.

If you haven’t noticed, our photo gallery has been slowly growing over the past month. There are now new galleries from previous performances including the Malden’s Harvest Moon Festival, Asian American Civic Association banquets, Chinese New Year seasons, the August Moon Festival in Boston, the United States Kuo Shu Federation tournament, and most recently our Fifth Anniversary Banquet.

Wah Lum Kung Fu & Tai Chi Academy was invited yesterday to perform lion and dragon dance for Gary Christensen’s mayoral inauguration for the City of Malden. A recording of the entire ceremony is available online courtesy of Malden Access Television. The ceremony will also be replayed on Wednesdays at 3 PM and Saturdays at 5:30 PM for the month of January on the MATV Government Access Channel.
