Youth Demo Team
As a way of engaging our young students to make further meanings with their kung fu training beyond their personal commitment to learn the art, the Youth Demo Team is both a fun and intensive opportunity for our diverse, young students to challenge and represent themselves publicly at performances and in the community. The Demo Team is an empowering experience for all members who range in ages from 5 to 17. They commit to weekly trainings in addition to their regular classes.
Yen-Linh Chit My name is Yen-Linh Chit and I am 8 years old. My hobbies are practicing Kung Fu and inventing things. I can be very creative. I have two sisters. My favorite sport is volleyball. I love Kung Fu because I love to work hard and learn to defend myself.
Yen-Nhi Chit My name is Yen-Nhi but I like to be called Yen. My hobbies are reading, arts and crafts, and Kung Fu. I play the violin and the piano. I love Kung Fu because I enjoying learning lion dancing among many other things.
Dylan Duarte My name is Dylan Duarte. My favorite color is green. I like to eat salad. I play the drums outside of Kung Fu. I like to play soccer. I have 2 sisters. I like Kung Fu because I like to work hard.
Yadira Duarte My name is Yadira and I am 8 years old. I'm in 3rd grade and I love school. My favorite color is pink and I love swimming. I like going swimming with my family, and I enjoy visiting the beach, and my cousins' house. I love Kung Fu because it helps build my self-confidence, and I am learning broadsword, it is a lot of fun.
Sammy Godinho My name is Samuel (Sammy). My favorite color is black, and I am a hard-worker. My favorite food is chocolate chip cookies. I love Kung Fu because I gain patience, control and balance.
Devin Hy Hi, my name is Devin, and I am currently a junior in high school. I love to participate in activies in the outdoors, to play video games, and to eat good tasting food. I am learning Kung Fu because it's an awesome and fun way to stay active, build discipline, and push my mental and physical being to it's top form.
Leah Kang I came from Korea to study with people from different races. My hobby is drawing and now I'm doing some graphic art. I like Kung Fu because if you learn it not only does your body get stronger, but also you can get more patience.
Valeny Martinez-Gonzalez My name is Valeny. I play the Clarinet in school with the Tuney Tornadoes. My hobbies are drawing, ice-skating, reading, and Kung Fu. My favorite color is purple. I like Kung Fu because I can learn to protect myself.
Ricky Mei My name is Ricky Mei. I learn Kung Fu. You would laugh if I told you why I wanted to learn Kung Fu. Jackie Chan inspired me to learn Kung Fu. Kung Fu is hard work, and I am willing to work hard. My favorite weapon is spear. I love Kung Fu because it is fun, and I can learn how to depend myself.
Evan Miller My name is Evan Miller. I am a part of the Wah Lum Kung Fu demo team. My favorite color is black, and my favorite food is sushi. I play in the Tuney Tornado marching band. My hobbies are playing video games, reading comic books, eating food, and practicing Kung Fu. I have two cats and their names are Mr. Fuzzy Guy, and Zen. I like Kung Fu because you get to learn new things, and perform in front of people.
Quang Nguyen My name is Quang, and I'm in the 7th grade. I am 12 years old. I love to eat Tacos! I just tested level 10A in Kung Fu. I like Kung Fu because it is something great to learn.

Max Weng My name is Max. I have been in Kung Fu for 5 years and love every moment of it. I love Kung Fu, eating and sleeping. Other than Kung Fu, and I am a typical Asian who loves fried rice and technology. However, Kung Fu is what I love the most!
