Malden Patch has posted a Malden Holiday Parade video held the recent Thanksgiving weekend. Check out the 1:27 mark in the video for a glimpse of our students doing some lion dancing in the parade.

The Malden Observer has posted photos online from the 2011 Parade of Holiday Traditions. Our school was a part of the parade again this year where we performed a dragon dance at the end of the parade. The photo below was taken by Paul Hammersly.

Interested in kung fu? Wonder what we do? Stop by the school on December 10 at 1 PM for our Open House and learn more about us. You’ll have the chance to try an introductory class, watch a demonstration by our students, and understand more about our style and school. Feel free to bring friends to the event. Light refreshments will be served.

Wah Lum Kung Fu & Tai Chi Academy will be marching again in this year’s Parade of Holiday Traditions in Malden. We will showcasing our dragon for the event this year.
The parade is this Saturday, November 26th. It will begin at noon at the Maplewood Street, continue down Salem Street, and end at Malden High School. The event is free and open to everyone.

The school will be closed this Thursday and Friday, Novemeber 24 and 25, for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Classes will resume on Saturday, November 26. Enjoy the holidays and stay warm!
